Yep, you got it!
Sick again!
I love allergy season!
I'm so glad the damn nannies in DC are
protecting me from Ephedra, Sudaphed, and Primatene.
No, seriously, I'm so grateful that I am no longer able to help
myself. I now must find a doctor accepting patients, when I get one
pay for the appointment and pay for prescriptions for what I used to
be able to get for about $35 dollars.
Or I can go to the emergency room...
But, I don’t have a couple of thousand laying around(I had a
friend who did just such a thing and had a bill for $1000 dollars an
hour...for a 6 hr stay, so $6,000).
Oh, that's right there's(smacks forehead) that panacea of 0Care.
Umm, no, I am not a ward of the state, yet(?).
Yes, that was way, too sarcastic.
Well, it could be worse if I want to use lots swear words. Just
imagine, the above statement, with every other word being a curse or
swear word of your choice.
I'm old enough to remember a time when we were trusted to know
what we needed when we entered a drug store.
So, while sitting staring off into space trying to breathe, I
realized Progressives make no sense on one hand they say we are over
populating the planet but on the other hand they say we need to
protect people from themselves.(Yes, I know we had some people who
abused these substances and yes, I know some people
should not take them but most of us used them because it was a cheap
alternative to running to the doctor).
The one thing I have to be grateful for is not having found a job
because I would have been out sick and more than likely been fired
for absence.
Needless to say, my allergies have finally subsided at least for
now. No, I do not have a doctor nor did I go to the emergency room
and no I will not tell you how I survived because I fear it will
disappear or become hard to get.
So, as I sit here with coffee cup in hand(hint) I worry what type
of country we are leaving behind...
A nation of simpering whiners unable to help themselves.
What happened to the men and women who solved problems and made
discoveries?
