Here's what I scratched at today...at first I thought maybe I should do a leave Sarah Palin alone ala Chris Crocker but let's face it no one wants me crying on their screen(number one I'd break a few screens and be sued and two I just know it would be all over the TV forever)
But I just can't understand the big deal, wow news flash teenage daughters do not listen to their parents I'm sure she(Bristol) got the mother-daughter talk but let's face it we're(speaking as a daughter) going to do stupid things(because we love our boyfriends and want to be accepted by our friends). This by no way says anything about a parent's ability.
I grew up with people saying you can be whatever you want, that having a child is not the end of your career. Is this only true if you are a liberal/democrat? Let me guess if this was a woman who was dependent upon the government for assistance(pick a program welfare, wic, etc) she'd be celebrated for chosing to raise her special needs child. Instead she is actually someone who can stand on her own two feet and doesn't need their help.
Where are all the people who applauded Hillary? How she had Chelsea and worked at a law firm, etc. Why aren't people wondering how Barrack Obama is going to be there for his daughters as they enter their teens? Dads are important, too. Didn't Michelle Obama work before the campaign?(and by the way why did Hillary have to trot around with cookies to prove she was a real mom/wife when Bill Clinton was running for president but no one has had Michelle do the same?)
I believe that the d-rats(democrats) are threatened, here's a women who can do it all(Isn't that what we were told-have it all a husband, a family and a career.) because if more women act like her, they'll be out of jobs.
After how Sarah Palin has been treated it will be a cold day on the sun before I ever go back to being a Democrat...
